Carving Pumpkins

We had our buddy Adam and his two kids over to the house today to carve pumpkins! We set up with disposable tablecloths and large bowls in the kitchen and went to town.

This little guy, Preston, did NOT want to stick his hand in that pumpkin, but he eventually got the hang of it!

Here are the finished pumpkins! Robert's is back on the table, but up front we have pumpkins by Ameria, Adam, Preston and me.

Robert's pumpkin turned out so cool!  He's so smart, his brain is so big.

We took the pumpkins outside and lit them to see what they all look like.  They were pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!

Ameria's Pumpkin
(At 5 she carved this by herself, for the most part!)

We also baked the pumpkin seeds with some olive oil, salt and pepper.  They were pretty tasty and the kids thought it was fun to eat the seeds. :)

Tomorrow is Halloween!  Robert and I still have to get the house all creeped-out for the trick-or-treaters.  Muahahaha! (Evil laugh)

My house in Little Rock finally sold!
We signed the final papers today, so we officially only have one mortgage now! Yay! I sure will miss that cute garden, but Robert and I are beyond thrilled and sooo thankful to be relieved of the burden of the house.

Auburn Game

We went to the Auburn game yesterday with Robert's family.  We tailgated before the game and stayed to the end to watch the win against Auburn!  Go Hogs Go! It was a really good game.

Waiting for the game to start!

Here come the Razorbacks...

Happy Hog fans!
