Bark for the Cure

Robert and I took Caesar and Henry to participate in the Bark for the Cure event on Saturday.  Fiona still isn't comfortable in large crowds of other dogs and Shishi doesn't care a bit about going for a walk, so we took the boys!

It was really fun to see the different dogs, huge mastiffs and Saint Bernards, hound dogs, teeny-tiny little dogs, and some were wearing headbands, tutus or t-shirts.

As you can see, ours didn't "dress up", but we did get pink bandannas for them from the Milk Bone booth.

We were part of the team from my work. Most of the others did the 5K race, but I can't make it more than 1 mile without a pee break, so that wasn't happening.

My co-worker, Sarah, and her husband, Dylan, brought their dog, Jax, and walked with us.

Honestly, a 1K is kinda lame.  We went part way around the parking lot at the mall and then it was over.  It felt like we just got started!

Robert was all, "I got out of bed for that??!" :P

Yeah, but it's all for a good cause!  Save the boobies!
